As you know, getting backlinks to your site may help you to improve your pagerank as it is one of the elements, judged by the search engine especially Google.Building links back to your sites is a part of search engine optimization techniques. The more backlinks you have, the higher number of pagerank will you get.

Link Exchange
This is a simple technique. The only thing you have to do is by making a deal with any site’s owner. Ask them to place a link back to your site while you are going to do the same thing too. For your information, this technique is going to use 2 ways link which is actually will not going to build a quality backlinks. However, if you have a lot of this kind of backlinks, your pagerank will going to be effected where you can see it will increase too.

Directory Submission
Submit your site to website directories. There are 2 types of directories which are the free and the paid one. Any directory can be used to place a link back to your site. Usually, the paid directory provides more quality backlink to your site since most of them have a pagerank number between PR4 – PR6. Spend your time to submit your site. If you don’t want to lose your time for the submitting task, you may ask someone else to do it for you. Many people offer to do the job. Leave Comments On Others Blogs
Besides using those techniques to increase backlinks to your site, you also have another technique which is quite interesting. Visit others blogs, read their post and reply a comment. Usually, when you want to leave a comment, you are required to fill in your name, url (optional), email and comment.  Do not leave your link in your comment. If you unlucky, it will be marked as SPAM. Leave your link by writing it in the url’s box. I never get bored to use this technique since I love travelling from blog to blog, everyday.

Link Baiting
Write an interesting post and let others notice about your post. Inform forumers about your interesting post. If it’s good enough and could attract a lot of readers to read it, they will tell others to read it too. Sure this will increase your backlinks. On the same time, it is also a kind of viral marketing as well. Usually, people used to write about recent hot news which has been burn up by the medias.

Signature
Get involve in discussions in any forum. Once you sign up as a member, don’t forget to leave a link back to your site in your signature. After that, join the discussions in the forum actively. The more post you make, the more backlinks will you get since every post will have your signature. As an extra tips, use a nice anchor text to make a quality backlinks in your signatures which will be appear in  every post you make. For example, it is a quality backlink of you link the word ‘Busby SEO Challenge’ to www.busbyseochallenge.com rather than you link the word ‘Click Here’ to the url.
